I build product interfaces and backend services, and stay involved through testing, rollout, and production support. My work includes collaborative editing tools, authentication, and cloud deployments.

Backend services and cloud delivery

Automated configuration migration for cloud environments with strict data residency requirements, and resolved environment-specific deployment failures. Helped break a monolithic application into independently deployable microservices, contributing to service boundaries, deployment preparation, and client SDK integration. The migration remains in progress.

2025

Sign-in reliability

Led a browser-based sign-in integration across application codebases and partner teams. Added retries with backoff for intermittent token failures, and used telemetry to validate the rollout. These changes reduced sign-in and token errors.

2025

Experimentation and developer tooling

Implemented a product area’s first production A/B experiment, including exposure logic and validation of measurement data. Integrated release-tracking tooling and helped build automated checks for missing feature flags before merge. Coordinated the response to a production regression during rollout.

2020 to 2024

Collaborative products and shared UI

Built collaborative canvas editing tools and a reusable React and TypeScript application shell with responsive layouts and accessibility support. Delivered meeting-sharing and annotation flows across applications. Later built AI-powered document and meeting interfaces with authenticated API integrations.

About

I care about how software behaves for the person using it. I want evidence that a change works before I call it done.

Much of my product work has been in React and TypeScript. I also work on backend services and deployment tooling, and help teammates through code reviews and architecture documentation.

Outside work, I read history and literature. I’m interested in how technology changes the way we live.
